Hi 👋. My name is Thys, and I'm a journalist, writer and digital editor from Amsterdam. On this website, you'll read stories about anything that I deem interesting. Which generally are topics around nature, astronomy, (geo)politics, the human condition, technology, sustainable energy, some pop culture and, oh yes, drug policy.

I reside in Amsterdam, and have also lived in the United States (OR, NYC, DC) for a part of my life. Going to school, working and traveling. I have a degree in journalism and American history. I've worked for VICE, RTL News and the Correspondent.
