Thys Roes

Thys (Thijs) Roes is a tech-journalist and nerd living in Amsterdam. His interest have ranged from space exploration to drug policy, American history to psychedelic science. He works for a start-up trying to make the grid more flexible through the use of EVs.

He is co-host and co-founder of the podcast Space Cowboys on BNR and host of Controlled Substance and multiple Youtube channels

Thys has lived in the United States — In Corvallis, Oregon, Washington DC, and New York. Also did four cross country road-trips but have yet to visit Maine, North Dakota, South Dakota to have visited all continental states.
